Sarabella’s Thinking Cap follows Sarabella who thinks wondrous thoughts but has difficulty articulating them to her family and friends. She frequently slips into daydreams and her teachers complain of her inability to concentrate in class.

The picturebook follows Sarabella’s journey to express herself using a thinking cap that she creatively makes and decorates with pictures that refer to all the things she thinks about and is curious about. The picturebook has wonderful art that will appeal to kids and a vibrant prose that will keep them curious.

Sarabella’s Thinking Cap can also lead to wonderful conversations about the imagination and dreams. My niece was particularly taken by the idea of a thinking cap that broadcasts everything you are thinking about to the world which…I don’t think is a good idea. Haha.
